Location: karfas 

Karfas is situated 6 km south from Chios town and 3 km from the airport. It has a beautiful long beach and therefore is a very popular place on the island. It has a small center only 500 meters from our apartments with water sports, several taverns, bars, a mini market and an ATM. Free use of sunbeds and umbrellas are offered to you after ordering coffee, drinks, ice-cream etc..

Karfas beach is sandy and has shallow waters so it's very suitable for children.

From the garden of Sideratos Apartments there are only 3 steps down and you will find yourself directly on the beach.

The island has a population of approximately 55.000. Half of them live in and around Chios town. Because of the university, which is housed in a beautiful building in the centre, a lot of the citizens are young of age.

The Prokimea, a long boulevard along the harbor, is a popular hangout for people of all ages.  Many hip bars and traditional taverns make it a lively place, day and night.

There is a frequent schedule of ferryboats coming from and going to Lesvos and Pireas and to the opposite side namely Cesme in Turkey.
